Consumer Price Index


Consumer Price Index = market basket in current year / market basket in base year   x  100

*** The equations used at 3:50, 4:28, 4:48 are wrong***   
The correct equation for 3:50 is 50/20 x 100 = 250
The correct equation for 4:28 is 20/40 x 100 = 50
The correct equation for 4:48 is 50/40 x 100 = 125

I will fix the error shortly, but in the mean time, please make the appropriate corrections.
